Nineties Now

The 1990’s don’t seem that far off, but believe it or not, the days of platform shoes, baggy pants and flannels was more than a decade ago. The nineties are back already and I want you to be more chicly prepared! I recently fell in love with and incidentally spent hours on the Editorial Archive blog. I continued to come across editorials from the 1990’s that could very well be in today’s Vogue, sporting the casual minimalism looks that nod to the nineties. Here are some oldies, but goodies in the terms of 90’s fashion. If you are going to go there, take note from these editorials and leave your baggy pants at home.

This is how I would do nineties now… all from La Garconne.

Fashion Feeling

Lately, there haven’t been that many amazing editorials that make me die for fashion, until the March issue of W hit stands… I love the eerie fashion feeling you get from this editorial featuring Kate Moss. It’s the same feeling I used to get watching the Alexander McQueen runway shows…

Much About Moss

Kate Moss is booming this year! Featured in some of my favorite ad campaigns….

 Isabel Marant

WWD stated that her Topshop collection will be scaled way down after the final full collection launch on October 25th. There will only be 2-3 deliveries a year with 12-15 pieces in each capsule collection. Always a fan of the Kate Moss style, I am looking forward to these capsule collections. I think they will be only super special items, no fillers… all in all a good move for both Kate and Topshop!

P.S.  Today is my 500th post!

Neutral Beauty

Anyone who knows me, knows my love of neutrals. My wardrobe is full of two extremes, tons of neutral pieces and a few crazy bright printed pieces. Today is a dedication to the neutral trend that is alive and well this summer. I am so delighted to share with you a mini collection of street shots that exude fabulous styling in the neutral tone. Camel and grey go together for a simply stated street chic look, while mixing different shades of grey add a cool vibe to an otherwise simple outfit. It even works on the men!
