The whole idea of sharing my living space with a person of the opposite sex, is initially, how are our styles going to mesh? My vintage velvet sofa sitting with his industrial metal trunk we found in the garbage… my oversized antique mirror hanging next to his neon orange skateboard art? I am a bit perplexed! The apartment has beautiful wainscoting in the living room and bedrooms, a chic nod to Parisian style. I don’t want to get ahead of myself, as we won’t know if we got the apartment until later this week, but I can’t help but wonder what our things will look like in this lovely space… and more importantly, how will our styles fit together?

 So I began my research… which can translate to any apartment we end up living in…  Here are some rooms that balance the scales just right between men’s and women’s styles…

This marks the end of the first year of Project de. I successfully made 1 garment a month this year.
